Hi girls,

Now that we are in our third trimester, should count the baby kicks - which is a reassuring thing for us that the baby is doing fine.

After every meal, rest for few minutes, count the baby movements (not the hiccups - just the kicks, twists, pokes, turns) and then proceed your work...as you will not notice the movements if you are doing any work. If you get 10 movements within 1/2-1 hr its good. if not should get 10 movements within 4 hrs...if you cannot feel the movements, call your doctor. Besure to check the movements at the same time and have your baby' s sleep routine in mind. As bynow, we can clearly make out when the baby is active.

Thanks alot jichi.... I am in my 29th week but still not having a particular pattern of the baby movements ... :( sometimes the baby is very active sometimes longtime after i have my meals the baby is sleeping... will chk with my doc on Tues

hiii dere..
i´ v bin tryin 2 track d baby movments... lik wen is it active n all...
but i find dat smtimes durin d meal.. its active..
smtimes evn aft d meal.. its sleepin for an hr. or so..
kabhi toh in betw d nite its active..
n mostly in morns betw 8 to 9 its active.. n smtimes not...
so i just dont get it..

is it normal... i mean d baby is doin fine... coz its movin, kickin, pokin. etc..
so y shud v know d routine of its movements ??????
i dont hv knowledge.. pls guid me

ohhhh i think i need 2 work on dis..
i usd 2 think.. dese hiccups r movements.. or kicks..
d baby does kick smtimes.. n moves too..
but i gues hiccups r more..
n smtimes it doesnt move after meal :-(
m so confuseddddd
