How are all of you doing? The board has once more become so silent...

I am back from vacation yesterday, had been to banglore for a week. Ramya, I am so sorry, I was not able to call you. Vacations are busier than the normal days and with a wedding in the family it is all the more busy. But it was ofcourse a good change from the routine. Met all cousins, some of them I am seeing them after about 3 years... had good fun.

Rishi also enjoyed... he loved the marriage hall and he dragged all the chairs and played happily. However I am worried about him. A doctor in the groom's family said that his leg bone is bent and that he might need a surgery. For me, it seems normal, ofcourse his legs are not in perfect shape, but I have seen all kids like that when they had started walking. He said I have to consult a pediatric neurologist. Let me see, I have to consult his doctor first, will take her opinion and then proceed. What do you all say? How are your kids' legs? Do they walk perfectly like us?

I am sure Rishi is just fine ..I too have seen kids with bowed legs and it becomes perfectly fine once they begin running around but its always safe to consult the Dr.Lets just hope for the best ..

Here sid n me are both having a terrible cold.The weather pattern is preety abd here,some days its hotthen it rains and other days it windy..Sid finds it diffuclt to sleep at nihts sometimes becos of stuffy nose..Vicks vaporrub and saline drops doesnt seem to help him..anyways,thast about us..
You let us know what the Dr said ..

I am from the dec 2004 board.Regarding ur sons legs.....We had neighbours whose daughters legs were bow-shaped....so the docs asked the parents to put her in dance class or to follow some specific exercise inorder to return the shape of the legs to normal......and this helped a lot....no surgery was required.....the little girl(must've been older than Rishi then) attended bharatnatyam classes ,actually it was just that some form of exercise was needed....
just wanted to let u know....

i am from Feb. 05 group and just read your message.. vani in regard to rishi walking.. please do it checked. The reason for this is that my sill daughter started to walk with a little limb and everyone thought that since it is early walking she will be okay but it is not become okay and after much perusing, we got my BIL & SIL to consult a pediatrician - specialist in bones. He immediately told that she needed surgery before she turned 2 as after that age.. No cure.. (and at that time we had only 2 months for that) He said her hip bone is not align with her leg joint so eventually if no treatment then her one leg would-be e shorter then the other.. It was scaring situation for the family to face but with gods grace her surgery went well.. And she is doing quite well now..

vani, i don't want to scare you but i have experience al this in my own home so know how it feels. Please get it checked. Praying for a good news..
