Hi all 2nd time moms,

How are you guys managing pregnancy with kid and home? especially if you are working also? I am already tired of pregnancy want this to move soon. My daughter is very clingy to me, I hv to do everything for her and it adds up to my tiredness. Also mosttimes I get disturbed sleep because of sleep positions, kid, etc. Pls. let me know if this is normal or not, should I talk to my doctor? My doc says with kid pregnancy will be very tiring only.

Since I am very tired I was wondering if I am anaemic or something. Is there any specific test for hemoglobin in 2nd trimester? Pls. help me with some suggestions.

I have alomost 4yrs old son but very active and wants to be busy all the time. In the morning, it gets a little hectic as I have to pack lunch & snack for my son, make him ready for school and feed him breakfast. In the mornings, he wants mommy to help him with everything starting from brushing.
But luckily in the evening, my h' band helps him with coloring/playing or feeding him snack etc. Ofcourse the dinner time for me and my son will be almost same and I lose my patience if he doesn' t eat fast.
Guys, ask your husband to help with kids work. Their bonding is very important now and after the delivery. Even if your parents/in-laws here to help, your first born should not feel left out.

I am also facing exactly same situation. I am having 19 months kid who is very active. He is very small also so I cannot expect him to be independent. Everything depends on his mood. only one good thing is my DH is helping me a lot. Whenever he is at home, I don' t have to worry about my kid. But still, as you said I get so tired. I am not able to take care of myself as I did it in my first Preg. I also had got doubt about my HB levels. I checked with my Gyne about that. I am planning to do the test in next month. I hope everything goes well.
Am desparately waiting for December as my mom is planning to come. It' s really difficult to manage all household activities + Office + kid.
but somehow managing.
U also take care of urself. Try to eat iron rich healthy food. Good luck.
Sucheta Kalpana replied. I am in the same boat. So difficult to manage my son and this pregnancy. Every time I visit my doc, I say her the same \" 2nd pregnancy is very difficult than the first\" . She attributes that to the responsibilities.

If you have any doubts abt hb, please go for a hb count test. Its so simple and you could get the result in max 3-4 hrs.

You may also need to teach the elder one some responsibilites, and push some work to your hubby. It really helps if they understand. :)
