Subject:  am I suitable for breastfeeding??

Hi Mother groups,
Thanks for extending your support for upcoming moms and new moms. Together we can give right and healthy birth to our kids.
Finally, I am going to get my D-day on 26th November.
I have a query and hope, the new mothers or mothers will answer me very easily.

How can I make myself ready for breastfeeding?
Do I need to pierce my nipples?
Or hole will come automatically once after the delivery?
Currently I dont find any hole in my breasts and there is no leaking of any milk as of now.

I think my question is quite obvious but feeling shy to ask this.

Please help......

hey dont do anything so foolish as making holes in the nipple that will only lead to infection instead just relax all mothers are fit for nursing milk will automatically come once baby sucks and the more baby sucks the more milk u will get also after delivery if u feel milk is less thn ask ur doc and take leptaden or lactare tablets for a month milk will flow like anything.

Dear All,

I'm Dr. Meghna Bharath. I'm a strong proponent of Natural Birthing.

In the run-up to becoming a Mom myself, I prepared for Natural birth and delivered naturally. Recently I encouraged and supported my younger sister and close friends deliver naturally as well [through remote advice, since we were across a 10-hour timezone :)].
