I'm travelling to INDIA on 3rd of jan.Very very busy shopping these days.excited and nervous too.??
I have a few questions would really appericate if anyone of u could help me with this.
1. my son takes whole milk with bournvita .Do they provide milk in flight?i'll cary bournvita with me but i'm just worried that how will i give it in flight to him.he is also not used to bottles .i give him milk in sipper.I'm totally confused how to give milk mixed with bournvita in flight.Guys i may sound silly but pls. help me with this.
2.I'm taking umbrella stroller with me.Will they allow me to keep it with the cabin bag as i have a short hault in dubai for 1-1/2hr. stroller will be very handy but will they allow it in flight.
3.i'll be carrying with me in flight....his clothes 1-2 pair,diapers,wipes,baby food,cookies,blanket,medicines,changing mat,water,his sippy cups,bibs,napkins,diaper rash cream.Pls. let me know is there anything else which i'm forgetting.I'm travelling alone for the first time that too with baby i'm really tensed about it.Pls. give ur inputs.i hope i'll reach INDIA safely.

neha replied. we will also be travelling to india in jan.ive booked the bassinet n the seats in advance by toll free cust care number..hope u've done it too,

two more things you can add
first nasal drops or spray(little noses) coz baby's nose can get dry or congested n secondly something to suck on during take off..pacifier etc poonam replied. hey u guys...

u seem pretty well prepared for the trip...

u will get wholemilk in the flight but to be on the safer side make a request in advance...

ur diaper bag seems loaded too....just keep a few garbage bags handy...any plastic bag will do...u will be disposing a whole lot of things...like wipes...jars....etc...and its not easy to go to the bathroom each time...so keep storing and dispose when u have to get up....

feel free to ask for help(from the cabin crew)...dont be shy...

pack a hand sanitizer small bottle too....helps alot...

try to take the front window seat with bassinet...instead of the middle one....coz then u have a cozy corner to urself....else u will be disturbed by people and crew every now and then and also the middle seat has a huge LCD diplay which is almost always on and when the baby sleeps the lites hit the eyes directly...

make the seat request in advance coz they get taken real quick....they hav ethe most leg space ;-)

plz dont worry urselves....ur trip will be very nice just stay positive and be happy...

same here, I am going to india next week. Well, they should have whole milk on flight, u can call them to be on safe side. About the stroller, they take it before you go inside and give it to you pick it up on your way out.

I am thinking of keeping same things in diaper bag.
2 clothings
socks
diapers
wipes
sippy cup
baby food
formula powder
medication (orajel, tylenol)
teether & 2-3 small toys
baby book
qtips, comb
small bottle baby lotion.
blanket
cotton balls for ears

I think the hardest part would be to keep them with us for long hours. My baby likes to walk around. Hope everything goes well for us. Is it okay to feed cow milk in india?
