i have quite a fair complexion - but the only problem is it has a wash of red in it. how can i explain? like a reddish white colour...

im not sure why it is like this.. my mum has always said it's because i am a fond consumer of fruit in particular, apples and oranges. i also love salads containing tomatoes and carrots.

whatever the reason, im not v. happy with my complexion. id rather be pure white.. as the touch of red/pink makes me look a little darker.

can you suggest any herbal remedy to make my complexion more fair? i have dry/combination skin.

dear turmeric,
i dont mean to offend ur advice but i wish to reveal the reality behind the redness on the skin...its all internal.applying masks etc..on ur face wont make ur skin red unless they promote blood circulation.its all about ur diet.if u take more iron ich foods,u will definitely ahve arosy and glowing beautiful skin.so,even if benish tries anything to get fair,unless she stops consuming iron..which is highly unadvisable as she is a girl,she may get fairer but not paler.i hope u understand!

i totally agree with mahvish.ur so damn lucky to have such roses on ur white skin.do u know that millions of girls would die for such a lovely complexion?this type of complexion is healthy and very appealing.be thankful.for the white patches,i think they r due to dryness.apply milk cream(malai)on ur face.if u want to get fairer as well,add a few drops of lemon juice and a pinch of haldi just enough to give the mixture a pale light yellow colour..not orange!but anyhow,u will still have the peaches and cream complexion.u cant get rid of it unless u fall ill.this is the complexion everyone opts for.it signifies good health,cleanliness and proper blood circulation.many girls would envy u.so,be thankful!!
