Due Date Club April 2007:False Alarm!!

Hii Everyone,
I got my false alarm yesterday!!!
GOsh It was scary!!
Last nite around 10.30 i was hungry and sat down to eat idli.. But cudnt eat at all.I was feeling so nauseaous and starting feeling tightening and contractions. and lots of cramping.I gave up eating. tried going to the loo and but was sooo restless.i got around 4-5 contractions with cramping-menstrual cramping and lots of pelvic pressure. then i was too tired n dozed off.. but again around 1.30 the contractions started again.. n this time painful and double the cramping. so much tht i cudnt stand straight at one point of time. The nurse asked me to go to ER if i get more than 4 contractions in 1 hr. and i got around 6. and by the time we reached the hospital.. i got 2 more. There they monitored me.. baby was doing fine..touchwood.the good thing is baby was kicking after every contraction. They did the urine analysis and BP.both were normal. but i had some temperature. then miraculously, the contractions stopped and then after another half an hr the cramping also stopped. then they sent me home..I will be seeing my doc again on the 19th. May be she can give me sum more insight about this. The nurse said it cud b tht i was over exerted..
Just wanted to share this with you all.
Archie, I would really appreciate your take on this.
Thanx in advance
