Due Date Club May 2007:Where shud delivery happen-Mom or In-law's place

Name: Mohna Jain

Hi Everbody!

I am 24 weeks pg & currently working in Bangalore. I am constantly confused as to where should I have my delivery and this keeps bothering me.
My in-laws place is Jaipur and my Mom's place is Udaipur. My in-laws want my delivery to happen in Jaipur; they are excited as its the first child. I dont want to hurt them, but i feel ideally it should be at my Mom's place as i ll be most comfortable there.
I dont want to have it in Jaipur as I ll be all alone there with them; my husband will also not be there which wil make me feel emotionally insecure.
At the same time I dont want to hurt my in-laws also. Dont know how to put it across to them? They feel that everything is feasible in Jaipur as it ll be in Udaipur. I cant say the comfortability level as my concern also as they will feel as if I am telling them there care taking will not be good.

Pls suggest me how to put it across in a way that they understand my situation and I dont hurt their sentiments too.

Tx,
-Mohna

I am 6 months pregnant happily with my family(hubby and parent-in-laws).. having a great time.. not even thinking of going to my parents' place.
In fact my mom is planning to come and stay with us during delivery.
if both ur families are in good understanding, why dont u ask ur mom to come to jaipur while u have ur delivery there?

Last but not least, u the best judge of your situation, go acc to ur instincts
All the best !!

Hello Mohna,
Congratulations on your pregnancy. In such situations it is hard to decide. But i would suggest you have your mother around for your delivery. My mom has severe arthritis too. But with what so ever she helped me through out my first delivery. Just the feeling of mom around cures everything.
Take care
Enjoy every bit

Hi Palak,
Eating both fruits is good for health but you have to be very cautious because banana would put you to gain weight. So better think about that and then there will be no chance of loss of weight.... - Neha [View Message]
