I would like to know what is a fade haircut.
My boyfriend said he would think on getting a fade cut when I asked him to go for a shorter one for the summer. Also, suggest some shorter versions of haircut for the summer. I don' t want him to get shaved but a good close crop for the summer however short it may be. For the first time, he said he will listen to me on his hairstyle as I think he will look good in a good short cut. Expecting reply from gals and guys.

B replied. From what I have heard fade haircut is when you have a bit of hair on the top and then sides and back is gradually close shaved. The name fade haircut comes from the fact that it gives the illusion of hair fading from top to bottom. It is very common haircut. Some prefer a more drastic fade with super shaved sides while some prefer a more gradual taper. It is said that it looks good on curly hair as you will see some volume on the top. I prefer men with short hair as it makes them look sophisticated and classy, not to mention easy care during summer.
One of my friend got a messier look cut which is not a short cut but more of a medium length. It is not the out of bed look but a more controlled edgy look. Gave him a very bad-boy handsome look.
