I have enquired Akbar and Royal ALberts Palace. Are the prices you guys are paying, all inclusive of tax and gratuity? Akbar is charging me $25, so I am curious.

Hi,

I went to ask Akbar rate and they are charging me 26$ per head ( mixed menu-no bar)including tax and gratuity for 50 people crowd. I also picked 100$ option of decorations but they reduced it to 50$. I guess I am getting a little higher rate but i tried by best and the lady was not budging. Another way to look at it is that if I reduce it to 25$ per head, then also I will be able to save 50$ which I saved on the decorations:-)

I have not seen Royal Albert Palace yet..

I did'nt add the tax & gratuity in my amount, after adding it comes to almost the same i.e. $25/head. I have'nt included the bar so its little lesser, but not much difference!

@ Royal it is tax and gratuity will come up to $25 per head on Sunday and on saturday its $30 per head I guess. But the place is good and as I'm expecting large crowd and I wanted a bigger place so I picked that.
