Happy New Year to you all and Happy Belated Birthday to Radha, Sid,Tia,Suraj,Rishabh and Jiya.

Hope you had a blast!! Read all the messages and am inspired to plan Kichu's b'day in a decent way.

Here's my update of the previous fortnight.

We had a smooth travel to Kerala with Kichu sleeping well in the train and taking the connecting flight well too. After we reached it slowly turned bad as he developed a throat problem and cold. To top it, he would go into anyone's arm (FIL and MIL incl) and that earned him quite a bad rep. He was playing smiling and happy with everyone, from our arm or from the floor..

Good thing is, he started sying a few words in his own kiddie speak. He started \";Acha\"; (for dad), Doon (for fan) aight (for light) and started saying an emphatic and clear No to food when he was full/not hungry and to people who were trying to pick him up :(

He also stood for a few sec's without support a couple of times and is getting dood at feeding himslef with a spoon (sloppy and messy..)

We've learnt that he luuurves small banana and gajar ka halwa. He also ate all the stuff we did (with zero chillies tho)

The return journey was a nightmare. He hardly slept in the train and the flight was delayed!! Reached y'day and poor kiddo slept from 5 PM to 6 AM this morning!!

Sush, I am impressed with your b'day preparations. I am not going to anyhting myself!!

Komal, Havent seen the snaps yet. Will. Kudos to Megs for walking and talking!! How's she now?

Reens, That was a good thing on his B'day. How's R now. Is he happy in India? Has he started liking food? I too had my share of hiccups at sasural and since i had taken a vow to not repsond to bad vibes, it was doubly bad. To top it, Kich just owuldnt go to my IL's arms. They said that i havent brought him up with good social skills. I agree. He is finicky with new people and maybe that's not right.

Sanghamitra... Super News!! You and M and just great!! How is Jiya taking it?

Maurni, Hope you are keeping well and are not too tired out with everything. How're the two lil ones doing? Is the baby within OK? How were the scans?

Ramya.. How's Rahul? A big hug to him..

Vani.. I'll call you now.

And finally, Raj, Aap mengaluru se vaapas aaye ki nahin. Big Boy Sid ka b'day kaisa tha? And where are your updates/ Snaps...
