yesterday was the last day of navratri & beleive me, we enjoyed all 10 nights dancing on the dandiya-garba tunes. i love dancing & guess what i got a new partner this year- my son. he too enjoyed all night thru jumping on his papas shoulders seeing me dance to the mind blowing music. infact at times i took him in my arms & was dancing with him. it was real fun. i m so happy we both have common tastes.

garba dandia

hi jayna,

i know how it feels. same here, i took krishna, first navratri. We still have garba/dandia this weekend (in US they do both weekends), they have in weekdays also but weekends they have it in big place since lot of people come.
waiting for diwali also!!
Where do u live in india?

being in India one njoys these festivals a lot....vahan ka to mahool hi alag hota hai diwali par aur diwali ke pehle ka bhi.I really miss all this here in US.
