my fil is slowly losing his stable mantal state and gettin g very aggressive,this disturbs peace in the house.WE tried taking him to psyhaitrist but he refused to come,we cant force more than this,any ideas to tackle this?

hi mohini, i can undersatnd ur prb as i too had faced it,erlier i advise u to concern it to ur family docter to whom ur fil visits often n tell ur doc every thing n ask him to suggest u a good phyhaitrist and u ur any family member wld visit phyharitrist without ur fil and tell him all about ur fil and ask him to give some medicines to control hyper aggressiveness both doctors can discuss the situation and can deel with it i did the same u too try it

i understand how difficult it is to manage older people,as they grow older the more stubborn thy become ,just try avoiding any arguments ,tell yes to evrthng he tells in front of him,later do as u like.takin him to doctor may not help much,try explaining him politely n in his way.u know to get things done u need to walk their way.
