As most of u know Y ashvita's first B'day ison Oct 18th,I am planning to celebrate on 22th and star B'day on 8th.Also i take her to Mommy and me class once a week and that's on 18th too so i will have little snack party for her with other moomies and babies.
We booked a party area in the Park and it is good ,we saw the place yesterday and have to take a permit and pay an amount to book the place.
We have planned for catering and games,Though we move in Couple of month back here,we have ended to 40 people mounting to 10 famillies in our apt itself
I need party ideas from u for baby gifts,we have abt nine kids can u give some ideas for agegroups ranging from 1-5 yrs,
To those in US any games other then Tambola,and where do we buy this game??
Any other ideas are most welcome.
Menu i have decided too so have to start shopping for party supplies
I enjoyed my cousin's babyshower to the core and was telling my hubb that i missed this in life which is so precious for a women,Hope i can have one in future and have someone to do it forme(basically it isnot a family custom inm y inlaws though my mom has and this being 3rd pregnancy with 2 early losses did not want to do out of the way,anway i will get too emotional on this iwill stop this topic)
so i was talking abt party so can u all share some ideas, any thing most welcome,we all look forward to parties in th coming yrs and first B'day i s major event .

I miss those crawls,creeps and those first looks but that's all was a phase and has to goon.

Well, even i'm looking around for fun ideas to keep everyone entertained. We've booked akbar's...an indian resturant for tanya's b'day(had to do it so much in advance coz her b'day falls right on diwali this time & i was scared that pple might book good places for their diwali bash).So we're celebrating her b'day on 5th nov.

Some ideas that i've thought of are:
-Since in our case its a resturant i'm thinking of calling a cartoon character who can blow bubbles, dance with small kids on some kids songs,etc.
-My guest list spans to about 50 people & mostly it'll be parents who'll participate coz the kids are generally 3 yrs or younger, so i wanted to keep games & activities that does'nt involve much running around & can be played sitting in groups.
-one good game that i've thought of is that i make everyone take a good look at tanya & then she leaves the room, when she returns to the room something has changed about her appearence & pple guess wt it is. Then again pin the tail on monkey is a old fav among pple & can be played by anyone kids or adults.
-For party favors i'm still undecided & wish some1 can give us good ideas.

If i can think of some more ideas il surely pass them on....hey which mommy & me do u go to? is it good....do babies actually grasp anything?do u have other indian moms coming there too? Sorry for so many q's but was keen to know.
Abt baby shower....don't worry,i also felt so bad that i din't have one & my reasons were same...its not a part of tradition in our family & moreover my previous loss had made us so scared that we just din't wanna take any chance this time.I too miss it so bad when some1 discusses theirs but hey we'll probably get another chance to do so.Even if not, is'nt the beautiful gift God gave us so much more precious...so lift your spirits, this is'nt the end of the world. When i took tanya to india my parents & in-laws threw 2 seperate parties to welcome tanya & that made me feel sooo happy, u know these kids are special & they get done wt they want. Yashvita will also make you throw a w'ful & memorable first b'day party for her & that'll make up for everything!
