Yes, unfortunately your baby will be born tea stained because you have drank so much tea. No, just kidding. Think about it. If you eat lemons, you could have a blond baby, with oranges a red head. Stawberries could make a rosy complexion. if you eat kwai fruit, then green eyes, or blue, by eating lots of blueberries. Fun idea, but not possible. Now caffine, prehaps, present in your tea could make the baby caffine addicted. You should switch to herbal tea, unless you already have. If the tea is herbal no problem.

P.S. I also love tea.

Hi,
Drinking tea twice a day or even thrice is not bad for your baby, only thing is he/she will be hiper when he/she is out in the world. I love coffee and I used to drink it from when I was 5 months old itseems. I still continued to drink it when I was pregnent but I used to make sure that i also had more than 3-4 servings of calcium in the form of yogurt and milk daily. My son is now 5 months old, believe it or not he loves coffee( I know it is too early for him to have coffee). Accidently he liked one drop from my cup one day and he wants it every day now. I will wait till he is a year old to give him coffee. If you add more milk to your tea or coffee it will reduce the amount of caffene.

2 cups a day should do no harm but i suggest u have milk, if not plain then with mother Horlicks, Shatavari etc. If you have tea , coffee, cocoa on an empty stomach it seems it washes away the vitamins through urine.

Drinking tea is harmful for the baby as it containg caffeine only drink one cup maximum a day if you have too. Does colour bother you? this is your child regardless of colour. This is very stereotypical in our indian culture and very illiterate.
