I have a problem with my hair in that it is very dry and I also recenly started shedding a LOT of hair....

I also blow dry and straighten my hair but I only do that once a week and so I doubt that that is the reason behind my problems

If anyone has any solutions... please do share

You can have mild hot olive oil mixed with cinamon powder and pure honey. Apply it on the affected area, rinse after 30 minutes. Results within 1 month.

I am not an expert, but oflate have been facing same issue for as long as 6 months, but then some information provided by my aunt worked.
1)Stop straightening your hair right now.
2) Get your hair trimmed thrice after every 20 to 30 days.
3) Since your first hair trim start applying a pack of henna for hair mixed with lemon juice or curds for 3 to 4 hours and wash off once in every 15 days.
4) Apply a coconut or Almond oil to hair once in every threedays and do not leave for more than 6 hours.
5) while going to bed always wrap the end of the hair in a clean cloth piece and tie it well and fast.
6) clean your scalp every 3rd day.

but a flaw, henna will dry your hair, and lemon juice IS NEVER TO BE APPLIED on dry hair, in fact its never to be applied anywhere near the head. Curds are strictly a no-no too because it promotes dandruff.
