I read your reply to the previous mail. It was really helpful. I am also travelling to India alone with my baby. I have few questions if you dont mind..
When you use an umbrella stroller how did you carry the hand luggage? What kind of hand baggage you took? I am just confused about this since baby might need lot of dress changes, diaper, food, bottles..For all these we have to carry a big bag right?

Do they provide baby food jars in flights? What did you feed Khusi while return trip? Did you reserve some jar foods for return trip? or you got it in India? I wont be visiting any city there in India..So I am not sure whether I will get gerber food there or not.

Is it safe to give benadryl for babies in flight?

I had a mid size back pack with me in flight. i was allowed to carry 2 cabin baggage, but i had carried only one.
during transit, khushi was not ready to be in stroller, so i had to carry her in kangaroo bag along with a back pack and empty stroller too!

ASk for help wherever u need. flight crew were always ready to help me with baggage.

Airlines do provide baby jar food, but u need to request baby meal during ticket booking or while u confirm ur booking 2-3 days prior to departure.

i had requested for baby food, bassinet and bulk row - aisle seat.

i had carried enough jar foods with me for my singapore vacation and return trip too. But airline also provides the jar food.
In mumbai i cud see baby jar food of gerber in almost all baby stores.
they sell it for Rs. 70 each.
I used to buy baby cereals from India.

i didnt give any medication to khushi during or prior to flight. you pls consult ur pediatrician for giving benadryl.
