I am in NY. I am planning to go to NJ tomorrow to buy some jewels. I heard that we can get indian jewellery in Oak tree road.
Please let me know a good, reliable shop there to buy 22 karat gold. Is the rate / gm same as in India? Is it worth buying here?

hi there,

hey i just came across this post n thot i cud throw some light!!

we went to NJ yday, 1gm gold is $17.50 here. 1gm of gold in india is Rs.640. wat i feel is getting gold here is fine. gold also seems good. in india u might need to pay for the making charges. here its all included. so price might come to the same and one more point is that, when its in dollars, we think its pretty nominal n spend. so i think u can give a shot there in NJ.

why all of u r so silent. i know everyone are busy with kids/jobs etc. but still try to rebember this ip site and we all will be in touch sharing the milestones of our kids.
