Dear friends

Long time since I wrote here... had been busy at work but reading all messages regularly. Rishi completed 9 months on 14th and I don't feel he is a baby anymore :) Time just flies and am already discussing plans for his birthday with my husband :)

He doesn't have any teeth and he is holding and standing now. He has started saying appa (which means father in tamil) from sunday onwards and I am feeling super J about it. I think the last word he picks will be amma!!! :(

I am giving him rice with dal, carrot and potato in the morning and dosa at night. In between if he has the mood, he will take 3 scoops of cerelac. He will have a boiled apple/mashed banana in the evening. I have stopped juice for almost 15 days now since he has cold and it is not subsiding. The climate is also rainy and cold here.

I have given his blood and urine for test and the results are ready but the doctor is on vacation. She will be coming on the 25th, so I have to take him after that and give him measels shot as well. Will update you with his weight gain then.

Tweetie, how are you after that black-out? Hope everything is fine with you and Santosh.

Vandana, good to hear about Ishu's update. Saw her snap in the contest page and she looked very sweet. Standing with support in 7 months is really amazing. Kisses to her.

Ramya, hows Rahul? I love to keep golu but did not keep this year since i did not bring my idols from chennai. Planning to start next year atleast.

Usha, great to know that Nihu's cough is better now. I cannot believe she is 4 kgs underweight. I remember Nihu and Rishi being the same weight!!! My doc said its normal????? Do update about her.

Vidya how is Diya after that scary accident??? Hope you are all doing fine. I know that babies must be keeping you all busy and hence no posts.

Sri, is your surgery over? Are you feeling better now? How is K's daycare experience now? Has he got used to it?

Reena, was nice to read update about Rishu. Kisses to him. Could not write to you since I was held up at work. Take care.

Good to hear abt Rishi's progress. Time seems to fly so that and the kiddos are already nearing their 1st Bday.

Even we are discussing abt K's bday. But it utter chaos. My sugery date is not yet fixed. They said anytime after Oct 11. But since it is only a corrective procedure and my doc does more on cancer related stuff, i do not get the priority. So, am waiting for the CALL, and planning abt getting K's bday puja done here.

Meanwhile K is settling in the daycare. But keeps falling sick very often. A week after being in the daycare he was down with viral- cold,cough,fever, vomiting and diarrohea. Then he went for 2 weeks and is agin down with viral. After these breaks, he has to start afresh settling done. When we take him to the doc, she says it is the daycare, and wait till they start sharing toys. so scary....and does make us feel so guilty for putting him thro this.

Life has become so hectic, and stressful. During the day if the phone rings at work, my peers and I are worried if it is from the daycare. Padoo's earlier mail is very apt, and I totally can relate to it.
