yeah, in this wide world we hardly find a person we can tlk to, despite the fact that they are near. sometimes we seek the solace of a person thousands of miles away. thats how the world is. im just fine. happy. except that im a little tied up with the constant work at home with my brothers-in-law around.

to tell you about me will take an eternity. do you have the patience for it? if you have then read on... i am a professor by profession and a writer and artist by vocation. but right now i dont work, as life became very strenous managing home and college as we- my husband and i- are the only 2 in our sweet little home. and moreover i hardly got to even see my husband because his work timing and mine were at ends. we would get hardly 4 hours together. i would be fast asleep when he comes home. feed him, go to sleep and within 4 hours get up and run to college when my husband is still sleeping. life became impossible. i felt we were losing each other in my pursuit of money and career. so i had to chose between money and family. my career was at stake, but i had no choice. and today i dont regret it.

well, im a proper 'madrasi', but not a iyer mami. i came to mumbai after my marriage, which is apparently my mother's native. so amchi mumbai is like my maternal home. i dont have to say how much of a wonderful city this is. a real heaven which i cherish. i have no kids. my husband works with NDTV. a very dedicated man who would make his office a home if only i was not there!!! a real workoholic.

i love shopping and dining. i explore new places to shop unique things. anything i feel is out of the ordinary finds its way to my bag and the money has to find its way out of my husband's wallet. i try all new types of cuisines. i love to visit art galleries. i love to play snooker. i love to read a lot. im not a tv addict but yes, to animal planet and a few particular soaps on star one and star plus. and know what i just loooooooooooooove to sleep. that is the best of all i like. and lots and lots more.
