Hi All

What is the ideal weight of a 8 months old baby
My daughter will complete 8 months this Oct 4th, she is only 6.5kg

Her food routine is :

Start with 5 oz milk then , I give her Apple Cerelac 4-5 scoops at 8am , then milk again
she sleeps for 1-2hrs , then bath, milk again, afternoon, Nextum rice dal 2-3 scoops, then milk
Ripe Banana - 1 , cerelac Apple honey, milk and then milk again.

Also give her vitamin drops , What am I doing wrong, how to make sure she is putting more weight
Please advise

Hi Usha,

I think Nihu is fien with her diet plan. Believe me, Rishi is also 6.5 kgs only and he was 3 kgs by birth. But he is active, so the doctor says not to worry about it. Nihu will be 8 months on 4th, but by that time Rishi will be more than 8 and a half and he weighs the same!!!

Don't worry, see her ped if you are really concerned.

hi all

why all of u r so silent. i know everyone are busy with kids/jobs etc. but still try to rebember this ip site and we all will be in touch sharing the milestones of our kids.
