hi reema,

the first step is to start talking in english where ever you can. dont feel shy and keep yourself from talking, because you make mistakes and only if you make mistakes will you learn how to correct it. watch and listen carefully to the words and accent and pronunciation of the speaker. and try to use whatever you have learnt where ever and when ever you can. sometimes wrting it down will also khelp you remember what you have learnt. if someone corrects you, dont let ego or shame build up in you. accept the correction and change yourself. leaving behind your ego and learning with ears and mind and heart open is your second key. third, start from reading the latest magazines/ novels to get a hang of everyday and speech and latest words and phrases. use them. try to write your thoughts.
