hi to all moms ,
how r u all with ur little ones? hopefully everyone is enjoying their golden period.
i have a query regarding Tetanus vaccination.actually now a days i am staying in Westindies. i m here from the month of february.my doctor from india suggested me that to take the tatanus vaccination from here (Westindies).bt in st.kitts(westindies) the doctors do not prefer any vaccination in the period of pregnancy.bt i think 2 tetanus vaccinations are compulsory in the pregnancy. one in the 5th month and other one in the seventh month.and now my sixth month is running.well my husband project' s is going to be finished soon so we will be planning to move india in next month.BTW wht u people suggest wht is the better time for travelling to india and which seat in the flight would be preferable during pregnancy? wht precautions i have to take while flying?
well everything is fine
do gd care of urself and ur baby
thanx

hi anitha, ruchika and all..

i am from the sep board and just started 7th month today..in the morning today, i had visited the doctor and she had given a tetanus vaccine injection..i am here in India. I guess it is common here as I have heard a lot of my friends getting it done too..

I never heard about vaccination during pregnancy. Any way I am in my 7th and my doc never told me about this. Any way I am in USA. Not sure if that makes any difference. Also this is my 2nd baby, with my first baby also I never took any vaccinations....Not sure if you need some over there.
About flying....as I know per doctors and per airlines rules...we can travel only before 7th month....if you are allowed to travel by any chance...here are the precausions I know....
*drink plenty of water
*don' t hang your legs while sitting..have some support for your legs.
*For every hour or so getup and walk for couple of mins.
*keep some dry nuts, veggis and fruits as snacks...coz while you feel bore you may end up eating junk food :)

Hope this will help you.

hi anita,kala and all moms,
hopefully everyone is doing fine.
Thanks for ur guidance. It´ s been a nice experience that we can share our feelings and problems.
well i asked with the doctor, he will provided us an certificate which is a permission granted from him that i can travel overseas, and British Airways only need that certification.we will be planning to move in the mid of june.
regarding vaccination, i think it is necessary in India, so when i reached there, i´ ll get it done from the doctor.
As per anita´ s advise, i´ ll surely take fruits, drynuts with me while travelling.
well what abt ur(anita,kala)due date?
love to all moms and their sweetie
