Hi friends,

I have question for all of you. Pls share your views and experience. I have lately noticed my baby Hiya has been wetting less diapers. She will soon be 8 mos. Until fortnight back she was wetting 7 diapers. Now it is just 5 or sometimes 6. That too those are not whooping wet. I can make out from her diapers that she doesnt pee more than may be 7 times in a day or less. I was wondering if that is with every kid as they grow or her water intake is less. She is on BM but for cereal I use formula. For external liquids I am able to feed her no more than 2.5 ounces of veggie soup per day. I am so worried sick abt this.

Also, have you stated adding little salt and sugar to their food? If no, when do you plan to? Hiya doesnt crawl yet. I was wondering if it has to do something with salt intake. Hiya is on gerber food.

6-7 diapers per day is not bad at all. It's OK. If you insist and suspect on fluid intake give her occasionally water and things will be alright. But to me looks very normal.

about crawling, each baby is different, besides your baby will start to crawl anytime after 8 months. Some babies don't crawl for a long rather they start standing and walking. I would not take this part so seriously.
Try to put some of her toys little far distance and put her on stomach and see if she makes move to grab toy. This is the first step.
Your baby may seat comfortably for a few minutes without support in this month.
If these comments don't boost morally and in either case give a casual call to her pediatrician and get all varified. I call always when I suspect something.
I can recommend a book by \";Gladis\";, your babys first year week by week, is a nice book and of great help. Also what to expect in first year. I loved these both books and were of great help.
