Hi Friends!!!
my skin color around my mouth and forehead,is darker than the color of my cheeks. my husband noticed this many times,and I feel very bad when he says that to me.I am 24 , no kids yet, have normal skin. I thread my upperlips and forehead, but still my skin is darker there. I am planning to go for LASER treatment. can anybody tell me whether it would be helpful or not, getting rid of this dark skin.
I use face masks made of honey, besan and sometimes olive oil mixed in it thrice a week.
is that ok for normal skin??????plz advice......

AN Desina replied. I would advise highly against doing it! My friend Pia got burned by the laser, and she ended up having horrible burn marks, that ended up getting 100 times darker than her skin, she has an extremely fair complexion, and the dark skin under neck looked horrible... I would recomend using lotion, oils, anything but laser treatment. ss replied. Hi

I did not have a good experience with laser treatment. And it will not help pigmentation either infact if anything over time it will increase the pigmentation as you go out in the sun after laser treatment. I also notice my skin is not as good as it was before. I would never have gone in for laser if I know this. Try to find some home remedy or see a dermatologist for your problem.

all the best cherie replied. hey man iv got that same problem except my forehead is much darker then the skin around the mouth area.but like you both these problem areas for me are much darker then my cheeks. i used to wax the hair on my forehead in an attempt to make it lighter :s but now m geting laser hair removal done there once n for all to get rid of the hair overall i just exfoliate those areas twice a week n apply a pigment corrector serum on these areas i think it has made a slight difference. also use sunscreeen.....m gona keeep up the routine n eventually my face will be even toned all over.........
