My daughter Neeharika turned 7months old today & Im so exicted about it, last week I was at my mom's place, we had great time there, my FIL bought a walker and Nihu had great time chasing people in the walker, my god, she was so fast that within seconds she would reach from one end to other, actually she does not walk, but just gives one jerk and lifts her legs and she zooms the whole house without much effort, now she can sit unsupported, but does not crawl at all, she however crawls and moves from tummy to back and vice-versa on a bed, clever girl ;o) I guess.

Reg her feeding habits, as advised by you girls, I have increased her cerelac feeds to 5 scoops per feed and give her 4 feeds per day, also I switched over to Heritage milk ( previously gave her lactogen 1 &2 which did not suit her ) she used to vomit a lot, it has now stopped , touchwood!

Its nice to read all your postings & know the updates from all mommies.

I have an off on Ganesh Chathurthi, so hope to spend it grandly as its Nihu's first one

Nice to see that Nihu is doing well and is taking her cerelac well. My ped. said that if the baby is willing to take more food, u can offer. it is fine as long as we don't force feed him. U can also try giving her ragi malt for one of her feeds. Also the combination of powders (rice+moong+wheat+toordal) for one of her feeds, can also give veg. along with it.
Abhi too is 7months old. He still is bony, which my in-laws don't like & blame me for that. Abhi is also not showing any signs of crawling. he rolls a lot on the bed, but once on the floor he remains stuck to it like a lizard:-) these kids are real smart. he wants to be carried and move around. if he doesn't get what he wants he starts crying till we give him (incl. hair), guess he is slowly learning that crying can fetch him whatever he wants. should be careful on that.
so what are the plans for ganesh puja.

Madhu Vani replied. Good to know about Nihu's progress. And I am also glad that she is able to move around in walker. My father suggested one for Rishi, but I am still in dillemma if I should get one or no. Rishi is swimming round the house and tries hard to crawl and is standing with support.

Even I have off on Ganesh Chaturti and am awaiting to spend time at home.

How did you make her eat 5 scoops? Rishi is still contented with two and donno how to make him eat. Neways happy to hear about her progress. Kisses to Nihu.
