Hi,
Guess everybody has been busy with the kids. Yes, me too. Life has been so hectic with Kaaustaaub becoming very cranky and literally clinging on to me. The past month was BAD. Initially he had terrible gastric problem. Then started teething and got his eczema back with heat rashes. Was on hunger strike and then wanted only milk and water. Sleep pattern had been WORST, waking up every 45mts during the night. Also, was refusing to sit on the stroller and car seat. So ran out of our options to get him to sleep.

Finally things are settling down, and have started from basics on solids.

As for me, had an appt with the surgeon today. And yes, he said he could operate me. Success rate is 85%. Will be in the hospital for 3-4 days. Need to be on bed rest for 2 weeks and the complete healing process will take 6-8 weeks. Am not supposed to lift Kaaustaaub though for a couple of weeks. Will get to know the dates for the sugery next week. Finally there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

Since we do not have our family here to help us out, we are checking on day cares/baby sitters. We tried one of our friends. But K seems to cry at the sight of their door. So we gave up that option.

Good luck with your surgery! I'm sure it'll be very successful...specially since you've been thru so much...and god isn't that unkind. Just be strong as you have been in the past and know that we all are praying for you. It will all be good once it's over.

Kaausthubh is just like his other friends here. Like to keep his mummy on her toes..\";neway, better that they're active than if they're like those boring low-energy kids.

Good luck on your surgery.. I'm sure the success with be 100%. After all your pains, i feel it is going to be good from here on.

Can't any family come over for a few weeks to take care of you and K?

Paddoo Tweetie replied. Have been wanting to write to you for a long time...sorry i didn't earlier. U seemed to have gone thro quite a bit with the delivery and the fistula prob...believe me, my mom went thro the same and she relates to how tough she found it and had to undergo surgeries to get it corrected...that was when she delivered my older brother and then she had me...so i pray that u will have 100% success and that K will adjust to the situation.
