I use my right hand more often then left as it is my dominant hand. But in the winter my RIGHT hand allways gets so rough dry and flaky ultimatley making it look black, while my left hand looks absolutely normal. How do i get rid of this? I mean i use lotion every second and good quality but it is not making the roughness and darkness go away. Due to the dry skin i start to get cuts meaning the skin starts to i guess tear like little tiny lines and it then starts to bleed.

Please help me make my hand like it was like my left hand. Thank you. PJP replied. hi soni, washing vessels and clothes can cause damage to the skin, because the detergents and soaps are thus. they are very harmful to the skin. but if we are not the kind who does household work, then it can just be that we are not exfoliating the skin properly. removing the dead cells alone can make skin far smoother and fairer. for your flaky skin, soak your hands in a warm solution of white cooking vinegar and lime for 5 minutes. apply a moisturizer later. please DONOT use the 'lotion' or whatever 'every second'. dont overuse anything. any aplication on the body should be only once in one hour or 2 hours. just because it gets dry doesnt mean that you keep applying and reapplying. its simple- the lotion wont work on you anymore if you overuse it.

your condition is either out of washing vessels and clothes or due to the cold weather. where your skin is split and cracked, apply a paste of asafoetida and leave it overnight. this has to be done for a week atleast. i suggest you dont wet your hands. wear a pair of gloves. since i dont know the real cause of your skin driness, i can only suggest you this for the moment. if it bleeds too much, and if it bleeds again, i suggest you go see a general physician first. a general medical practitioner can help you. a specialist will empty and scratch your wallet to the last penny. so consult a good general physician first.
