how do we know that I am carrying twins or not..?
had my u/s but forgot to ask the doc and now my next appt is at march end..i m 8 weeks pregnanct however my belly is grown up..it seems like i m 16-18 weeks pregnant..my u/s reports say gastational sac seen.. what does it mean that i m carring a single child..

The proper and safest method to know that u have twins or not is the ultrasound way only, as the other methods have a lot of risk of miscarriage. I hope u are not having a twin as the doctor would have told u while doing the ultrasound as it is very common for the doctor to be familiar with the patient. Any how on ur next ultrasound visit ask ur doctor. Regarding any home tips i dont know.
