I am in my 5th month and I too have severe back pain.My doc. has advised me to sleep on my sides and not on my back.The weight of the uterus falls on the backbone(while sleeping on your bavk) and that increases the pain.do let me know if this helps.all the best!

Hi there
I am in 6 month now and I have gone through lot of back pains from the first month. It is not something to worry about. I sit long time because I work on computer and hence I have the back pain always.
You can go for walks, have bath 2 times a day. That can reduce the pain. But it is just always there.. dont worry.  Top      Reply

Hi, yes lower back pain is very common and I am also having it. If possible try to take tub baths and relax, but the water should be warm and not boiling or go for a swim or just take a rest. Position on the bed straight or on one side. Relaxing is the best solution. - Sakhi
