I have a three mon th old baby.She cries almost every night and seems to be in pain. She literally shreiks and gets red in the face.Sometimes she gets a little batter after passing gas. A paediatrician told me she might be suffering from acid reflux and gave medication but it has no effcet. Some days she is really calm and some days she cries miserably. Is there any home remedy for gas? Mylicon, gripe water do not work on her. She is a totally breasfed baby and i am watching my diet but no effect. I am really worried. Please help. nidhi replied. Hi give her homeopathic gripe water with a medicine which you can get at any medical shop.

I have 5 months old and she was having similar problem ... now she plays sleeps and enjoy through out day.

1. this is a passing phase and she should get better by around 4/5 months.

2. Burp her as much as possible

3. Don't lie her flat - put her on the carseat and she can nap in it. This was the most wonderful thing that I discovered with my kids. In fact, they started loving it so much that I just had to put them in their carseat when they were cranky and they would sleep. As they get older, they get stronger and they can rock themselves in their carseat. For now, a carseat will also be easy for you to rock the baby.

Kumuda shub replied. I want to add to my message that my baby starts crying suddenly.She is laughing and playing one second and crying the next. What could be wrong with her?
