you suggested application of aloe vera on skin for lightening the tone. i would like to try out this remedy but am not sure what you mean by 'extract' of aloe vera. is it a cream/gel or simply extracted from a vegetable of some sort?

would really appreciate if you replied this pose.. with love XxX mariam XxX

dear mariam,i am sorry for the misentry of the name of aloe vera in hindi- in hindi it is ghilkanvar and ghrit kumari in sanskrit, mussabar ghritkumari in bengali and kanvar patho in gujrati. all my love, priya.

hi mariam,

aloe vera is a plant in tamil is 'katthazhai' and 'kumari' in hindi/sanskrit. it is a medicinal plant- a must in the house, specially in the kitchen. it should be available in any nursery. if you are an indian, you would have found this hung in the enterance of a house tied with alum, coal and the like- believed to drive away evil spirits. lets leave it at that. an extract of aloe vera means the juice of the leaves. the leaves ar juicy with a lot of water, as it is a kind of medicinal cactus.
