I moved to US 2 yrs back. till i was in india i had dandruff problems. after coming here i dont c a dandruff on my head. but i hv lost hair very badly. even my hubby is lsoing hair. is there something that i can do to arrest hair fall, and also to hv a good growth. my hubby is worried a lot...on both of us losing hair.

Whether you are losing over a long period of time.
Whether you have started or stopped any medication
Any undue stress - job/family
Change in food and habits/bloating/malabsorption
Other medical problems
Suggest you both should go for a health check up and correct any defficiencies. However if the pattern of hair loss is genetic, you need to meet a trichologist for his guidance and arrest of further fall. You may also get back the lost hair.

Otherwise, the hair should normally regrow once your health problems are corrected. Women should especially look at iron storage levels in the body - ferretin to be at 50 at least. verne replied. or trichologist immediately if you dont want to lose more hair. People loose hair because of ignorance and stupid cures, if you feel your hair is precious, then dont act cheap, and go to the doctors immediately. They will give you a complex treatment, based on your skin, hair, lifestyle and other such factors.
