since Tia doesn't have any teeth yet I haven't given her any finger foods but I'll try Paddo's idea of the boiled potato...also I gave her y'day some \";muuri\";(puffed rice)she simply made a huge mess & then spent the next one hour in peace trying to pull them off the fluff from the carpet..

Tia too has stopped sleeping on her crib..she infact gets up ,climbs over the bumpers & shakes & rattles the crib so much I'm sure it will collapse ..so one of has has to haul her & bring her over w/us..& that makes it IMPOSSIBLE for us to DO ANYTHING..so how do you all do anything ????????????????????

Also re; signs..signs actually augment speech-lang. development..since signs are generally gross motor (baby signs) compared to speechskills(word)which are actually much finere & need more mature nervous development..so it helps commn. & eases commn. distress...
but tho' I try to do the bye-bye Tia simply moves her entire body up & down..mebbe it is the precursor...but nothing else..& no interest either...

I give her the gerber apple & white grape juice...but I would love the tomato juice thing ..can you plez let me know how to make that ? & can I make & put in the firdge for later use??

Also has anywone started w/eggs???

sush padma replied. I learnt it from Vani..

You've to blanch a full tomato in boiling water (switch off the moment you put the tomato in). Wait for a minute and remove from water. The peel will come off easily now. Cut and de-pip. Blend. Put on stove w/some water, add teeny bit of salt/sugar and let simmer for a min. That's it!!

Haha.. Good one about doing anything!! We are fighting right now, but before that it was the floor for us ;-)

Arre yaar.. Kich is very slow with his motor development otherwise too.. I will try signing (there are no good books about this here, i've seen only some on the web)
