My daughter will be completing 7 months this Sep 4th, I have few questions, we changed the milk to Lactogen 2, since then, her stools color has changed to green, is this normal? has anyone faced this problem.
her wt is still 6.2 is this underweight, she is very bony, and also has milk reflux, sometimes she pukes the complete milk which she just had, Im feeding her cerelac rice/wheat , around 2 scoops in the morning & 2 scoops at night, is this okay ? what else are you guys giving your kids apart from cerelac & milk, please do share, and where can I find gerber foods at Hyderabad.

Even I have observed change in the color & consistency of stool, when I changed Abhi to Nan-2. The stools are dark in color, & are very hard. Doc. said that;s fine.
2 scoops of cerelac is too low, any reason??? U can slowly incr. it to 4scoops twice a day.
Am giving gerber, ragi malt, banana, tomato, mosambi, have to start apple from today. Inspite of giving all this, my fellow is still thin :-)

Don't worry about her weight, coz my son weight only 6.5 kgs when he was about to complete 6 months and doctor said it was ok. He too weighed 3kgs at birth.

I am not giving gerber and as Paddoo told, you get them at Q Mart. I am giving him mosambi juice everyday and also giving him bananas and apples mashed. I boil apple and then mash/grind it with little milk and give. I have not started giving any formula so I have no clue about it.

As Paddoo said, two scoops are very less, but Rishi also refuses to eat and he eats only 2 scoops. So I have made the feeding times more and so he gets to eat 4 times a day - each time only two scoops or less sometimes.

You can give him banana, apple, dal, carrots, potatoes etc. I boil half a potato, little carrot and moong dal, mash them all and add a pinch of salt and mix this with two scoops of cerelac rice and give him - he likes this alone. Also try giving tomato soup.

Vani padma replied. What was her birthweight? The thumrule is that they've to double the b/wt at least by the 5th month.

2 scoops of cereal are too low. Min. 4-5 scoops at a time are required. If she refuses to eat, change combos and try mixing with juice or veggies.

My son completely went off Lactogen after i introduced 2. He doesnt drink one also.

If you feel your daughter is thin, why dont you try NAN-1 from Nestle? It is supposed to 'substitute' than supplement BM. Do you breast feed her?
