Hi all,

I am a licensed Cosmetologist from the US and have worked closely with many plastic surgeons and dermatologists. I would like to know from you what has worked or not worked for you regarding your skin or hair problems.
There are many products that work and many that don't. I had 'adult' acne at age 35 and have had dermabrasion which removed 65% of the scars. It has been 10 years now and I have found that even though I don't need to, I will get the more popular laser treatment done in the next year.
This procedure has resulted in lightening my skin by 4-5 shades, I look 15 years younger, the wrinkles are a huge improvement and I have a much better complexion and my acne has disappeared completely.
Please share your experiences, good or bad, and if you need expert opinions, I will try to find the answers if I don't have them for you.

iam 35 yrs old iam doing gyloclic peel & microdermation from kaya clinc for scar reduction. they are asking me to go for laser treatment. thet will use ndyga laser. do u hv any idea about it. & also adv if peel & derma helps in any way & what r the side effects

Hi,

I don't know whether your lips are naturally dark or whether they have become dark due to certain medications or products you have used.

There are glycolic products available that will remove the top layers and the new underlying skin grows in lighter.
Another method would be to get a laser treatment by a board certified dermatologist.
After the laser treatment, you should see visible results. After a few months, of lip lightening treatments, you can also 'dye' your lips a light pink or any color you choose just as in a tattoo, but this should only be done at a Board Certified Plastic surgeons office or under his/her direction.
