Name: ruchika hi to all moms,
this is the first time when i m writing in this board.although i m a silent reader of this board from last one month but now i want to be an active member of this group.So first of all,
Congrats to all moms,
this is my 1st pregnancy and i m in my 25th week.from last two or three days i realised that the blood comes out from my teeth. is this a matter of concern? i want to ask one more thing what is anomaly scan,is it compulsory to have this scan?
i really want to appreciate this group as we are able to discuss and share our experiences very well.thanks once again.

Hi Ruchika,
Congrats and great that you decided to be an active member.Atleast we can all share our probs and excitement as well.
I just had my anamoly scan last week.Even I was scared,but all is fine.The doc showed me my baby' s face.It was just amazing.Any prob might crop up only if there is anyone with some abnormality on your or your husband' side.If that isn' t the case then things are likely to go well.So just go ahead and enjoy your baby' s pics.Keep us posted!

i can understand ur feeling while wathching ur baby´ s movement and all.really it´ s a nice feeling whn v saw a playing baby inside us.i m also through with my sonography.i also saw the baby moving inside me.everything comes normal in that ultrasound.now i have my next appointment in the month of june.well

Welcome aboard!

Hi Ruchika,

Welcome and Congrats....The detailed Ultrasound, taken during your 5th month or around 20th week to check the anotomy of the fetus - ie, size, duedate, fluid level, and parts of the developing organs of the fetus...etc. THis U/s is done normally for everyone.

Bleeding gums is common during pregnancy...you might even have nose bleeding....these are common esp. during second and third trimester....so dont worry. May be you can go for a teeth cleaning jus tin case.

hi jichi,
how r u? thanks for the quick response.your response made me comfortable.actually i didn´ t aware by the term anomaly scan. bt now i come to know, that is like sonography. my sonography has been done before a month. it was a gr8 experience whn i saw my baby movement,i saw the different body parts.At that time my husband was also there , he was also very happy. bt v didn´ t ask the gender of the baby as v wanted to keep it as a surprise. well everything is ok.
