Hi all, I regularly reading messages on this board.My due date is 22nd march.This my first message.

I am a software engineer and works 8-10 hrs a day.My worl place is 10 Km from my residence and my huby drop and pick me up by car.

Is this activity will have any negative effects?
What care should be taken

I feel your work schedule is ok. The main problem I find is travelling and in your case your husband drops you and picks you up from work that uis something very nice. Just be sure that you eat well, dring atleast eight glasses of water and sit in the right position. Do not take unnecessary stress at work and take it easy. I am also working and have to travel by local train in Mumbai. Sometimes, my husband drops me in car but everyday it is not possible for him because of his eratic work schedule. I don' t see any problem with your work schedule as it normal for all of us to work 8 hrs but as in your case you are adding 2 more hrs extra. As long as your job is not stressful I think your fine. Eat right and make sure as you walk once in while as you are at your desk for a long time. I' m in IT too and work for 8 hrs and if required more than that sometimes I let me manager know that I' ll complete the task from home. Maybe if you have those options find and use that.
