hi friends,
my baby is six months old.he is a chubby baby so he is not rolling over.the thing is he wants to be hold all the time and need lot of attention.if i put him down and put him in between toys and go away to kitchen to work he won't play himself and he want is to hold him or to play with him sitting next to him.even he won't sleep by himself.since i am breastfeeding he will sleep drinking milk or rocking in bouncer so from 2 days i started him putting down and letting him cry all the time.he is crying crying and finally sleeping on his own.but my question is should i stay infront of him while crying or should i goaway from the room.my husband leaves to job in the morning and until evening listing his cry is a harrasement to me.i don't know whether i am doing right or not.i am just leaving him down and letting him cry and i am sitting infront of him on the sofa doing my computer or something.he is watching me ,crying and i am not looking at him that time if i am looking he is rising his pitch.please experienced moms and dads please give me a suggestion. sangeetha replied. do not treat yourchild like this ... u r lucky that u can spend time with your child ... we working mothers do not have time to spend and you pl try and play nicely and talk to your child he will interact ... try slowly leaving him and playing with him try and divert your attention

You are boon to be with your kid all the time. Think of the working ladies.. either they leave the child to a babby sitter or they have to rely on any other person. He s a small babby who dose not know anything in this world. Spend more time with him, teaching many things to him. Buy rhymes CDs.. he ll def enjoy them. Play with him, teach him (they ll grasp all the things now and will reproduce when they start speaking), your child will become a super IQ child. Enjoy your days with him. Do not neglect him like this. Mother is the first friend, phlosopher, guide and the most loving person in this world. I KNOW ITS DIFFUCULT TO SEE CRANKY KIDS BUT I THINK YR BABY IS VERY SMALL NOW SO THIS PERTICULAR TIME WE SHOULDBE PATIENT WITH THEM .TRY TO GO OUT FOR A WALK WITH YR BABY OR IF THERE R KIDS THEN TAKE HIM TO THEM. MAY BE ALWAYS INSIDE THE HOME HE FEEL SICK.N FOR MAKING HIM ACTIVE PUT HIM ON THE FOOR N KEEP NICE MUSICAL TOYS AROUND HIM N ATTRACT HIM WITH THESE N HE'LL TRY TO MOVE TO GET THEM.BUT BE WITH HIM DURING THIS COZ WITH YR PRESENCE HE 'LL GET ENCOURGEMENT . kulvy replied. oh god

u shudn't ignore him fully rather u shud try new things with him like playing music or toys which are battery oriented so that his mind set to those things..........and further if u dont wanna be with him whole day , slowly do this
