I have brownish skin sanwali or medium brown. Well when i was born i had quite fair skin atleast lighter than now. I dont know for some reason i have dark skin underneath my nails which does not match my skin color at all its almost like black. Is there any way to make that go away?

What are good homeremides and creams to lighten skin? I know you cant become white but what will help to lighten skin? Also i have dark lips but in the middle of my bottom lip it is pink but the rest of the lips is darkish brown. How can i make my lips pink and get rid of the darkish brown lips? When i was born my lips were very pink and not like this.

Is there anything to eat/drink to improve the complexion? I have heard many people say drink milk it will lighten your skin. I have no idea if that is ture or not? Same with safi people say drink that and your skin will lighten although i did try safi nothing happened to me?

thanks a lot. though im not keeping well, my husband told me this morning that i have quite a number of messages waiting for me. so i had to take sometime to reply.

you can detect the colour of your normal skin by looking at the back of your ears. the shade there is the shade you can achieve to the max. exposure to sun causes tanning- be it temporary or permanent. saima, though im not for it, i have seen results: facial and bleaching in a good parlour in regular and strict intervals of time does bring effects. i have seen the skin of very dark people lighten. it can be a very slow and frustrating process to do the home remedy on a sanwali skin and waiting for the result, you can tire. but make sure you do go to a reputed salon for that. you WILL have to spend quite a sum, but, it will be worth the money and while. besides that, i suggest you drink a lot of fruit juices everyday: specially tomato juices, pomogranate juices, raspberry milkshakes, papaya milkshakes,apple milkshakes and the like. take a few strands of saffron (pure ones ONLY- pure ones are very expensive but are very good) in a glass of milk every morning and night. if you are on iron supplements, stop them in consultation with the physician. you can try application of juice of radish and curd or you may also massage your face and neck (or any darkened area) with tomato juice & curd or you may even apply aloe vera. these should help.

for your darkness of skin under nails, you HAVE to see a physician, because it could mean something else. internal problems sometimes- just sometimes, are reflected.
