Waise re: Tia I'm planning to put the child barricades around the kitchen area atleast to start with..Will go shopping this weekend to find out..abhi tak waise haven't figured out yaha ke shops as yet..bahut sare bade bade malls hai but very confusing..jati hu kissi ke liye aur kuch aur dekhne lagti hu..

neways..we have this wall to wall mirrors the entire width of the bedroom w/concealed cupboards jiske samne Tia sits & thinks she has company !!(atleat so far !)..

I'm already feeling j of the folks going to India..mujhe bhi itna jana ka dil kar raha hai..

yaha I have a very cutesy desi (telugu..most are telugu/tamilillians tho' I have jugarofied some hindi spkrs tho')..is having her daughter's 2nd b'day party & I was helping her around & realised that Tia's b'day will be in a snow filled cold boring day..these summer kids have so many options...aur pata nahi what chaos will happen thanks to both c'mas & New years that time ..dekho mein kitne aage ki soch rahi hu !!!
neways..

also I speak to Tia in Hindi..I wanted Tapash to speak to her in Bengali par T se kuch expect karna abhi meine bilkul chod diya hain..he speaks to her if at all in Hindi or else simply remains non verbal ..kitna bekaar pati hai mera.....more on that later..i have concluded now that they have remained so evolutionary challenged..

re: the \";k\"; sound emerging first..well this is the first I have come across too..tho' during the stage of variegated babbling(babbling=papa/mama/dada etc production w/out mg. & use of different consonants..mostly bilabial..ie w/2 lips wale sounds)kids also produce a no. of back consonants..k/g/n...all of whick is develomentally accurate & all of which is an indicator of sp. & lang. milestones so far being within age limits...but no way indicator of early words(meaningfull)..

I was told all the 'K' stuff by a speech therapist in mangalore, who worked with my nephew.. We all had beleived her 'hook-line-sinker' 'coz she was good with Aditya. It's a releif that you've clarified, 'coz i've been wanting Kich to say K... :-)

Tia's pearlies are out? And why child barricades? Can't you make do with a chair lying across the kitchen door?

What's with husbands?? Why do you say T is non-veral with Tia? Here sanj is also being nasty.. He'll do what i ask him not to, esp. around kich. And keeps trying to wake kich up once he's back from office at night!! Makes noises with the door, his shoes and what not.. My mom is super annoyed, but woh kucch bol nahin skti na? To uska bhi saara gussa mere hi upar.. Sanj ko kuch bolun to he says kya kichu akele tumhara beta he.. dont i have any rights? I wonder when it was a rights thing about disturbing a sleeping child, playing very roughly with him and also carrying him in/allowing to bite the gym-sweated tee..

He's also complaining that i dont have the enrgy for him nowadays.. I mean, 6 months ka baby adjust karega ki 29 years ka baap? Why cant we go NOW (mostly at 8.30 at night) to the mall, why cant we just go for a drive, leave Kich with your mom and sit with me.. all these stupid and emotional-blackmail type things are going on..

Sochti hoon ki bhagwan ne aisa niyam kyoon banaya, ki mom's prioritize their kids and dads still put themselves first..

Khair.. enough of cribbing.. Kuch fayda to hain nahin..

Have you posted your snaps? Imagine Tia's B'day in the middle of all the c'mas finery and with a festive spirit doing rounds in the U.S.. You could have such a great indoor party yaar..

hey, it was good to see your mssg, and you were missed. Good to know that you are all settled in the new place and you already have made lots of friends !!

Does Tia miss her Paki aunty? Now you probably have to set her in a routine all over again and look for an equally good baby sitter.... Moving is very exhausting.

Day before y'day I kept a full lenght mirror where Yash was playing and he played on his own for 45 min. He was so amused, he wld look at his image, then move his arms, smile, make faces.... Wow, it was fun to watch him play. I had tried the same thing a month back buut that time he was not even looking at it.
