hi all
i went thru 3d/4d u/s and got to knw dat my baby' s left kidney has a mild swelling.
i m really very tensed abt ths.i asked my radiologists also abt ths but he also dsnt know hw ths has happn,he said everything else is fine even the liquor around her is also sufficient,but still we have to kp a chk everytime as the baby grows.
i will visit my gyne today,........god knows what will she say abt ths.hope everything gets settled and cleared.i am continously praying for her good health.

I have logged in after a long time.. hope your visit to another doctor was fruitful, how are you doing? How is the bub? deepblue replied. My son had mild dilation in his kidneys that was detected in my 36th week ultrasound. My gynea as well as the pedeatrician assured me that it is a growth condition and most likely kinds grow out of it by the age of 1.5 to 2 years.
Please talk to the pedeatrician and they will assure you that this is something that they will test after the baby is born. Based on how severe the condition is, it makes kids more susceptible to UTI(Urinary Tract Infection) and doctor may recommend giving antibiotics or just a wait and watch approch or other interventions based on how it looks after the kid is born. My son was on antibiotics for about first nine months of his life and he grew out of this condition after a year.
Please talk to your pedeatrician, based on the fact that your gynea is not much worried I would say that it probably is something that the will correct itself.
