Hey girls,

Starting my india shopping this week - please give me ideas on what to shop from here..what do all of you normally take from here..gifts,etc.

It will be really helpful since i've been thinking about this and my brain can think of nothing but cosmetics which i usually take.

I'll tell you what my cousins/ friends bring for their relatives.. (other than cosmetics)

1. Massagers for elders (you get specialized one's for the knee, joints etc)
2. Heating pads - Electric, for elders.
3. Games - Computer and other video type for kids (schoolers)or even disney stuff
4. Kitchen accessories for ladies - Nice set of forks, Slef shrarpening knives
5. Eelctric shaver - available here too, but hey bring some other makes..
6. You cant go wrong with sports stuff for boys , but they're all bulky.
7. Chcocolates - Esp the dark ones with liquor inside, for the not-so-olds

And for your riff-raff relatives (sorry!! i call the vague ones that) you'd need to buy whatever catches your eye in a dollar shop or K-mart!!

Bring all of Meg's feeding stuff incl baby food (you dont want to change her routines na) and soe of her sleeping accessories.. Clothes can easily be sourced here (textiles are anyway exported to US form here only), both for you and for megs,, so you can save that much space in the luggage..

Okey.. Good to hear that the lil darling is doing well and is settling into a schedule... You must be looking forward to your India trip na?
