Wanted to share a few things with you...
Lord Rishabh has FINALLY accepted the bottle and he is no longer nursing from my breast. I am pumping milk and feeding him! This was such a relief! Now I pump as per my schedule and feed him as and when he wants to. Since he feeds very very irregularly I used to keep waiting for him to feel hungry and as a result my breasts would hurt. Plus he would do alot of natak during the feeds to. So this is one great news. Rishu is also sitting without support for 7 mins at one stretch. He sits with his legs in the front and so if he leans backwars he falls. He loves to sit and looks maha cute when he plays with his toys sitting. He also plays on his tummy quite a lot now with his head raised and tries to khisko towards his toys. Bahut hi careful rehna parta hain aajkal as he tries hard to topple things over all the time!! I am trying hard to get him into a schedule these days but am not succeeding on that front. Nights are as before still a nightmare. Also, havent made any breakthru with solids yet. He hates eating. Doc told me to back off with solids for a week. But I am still continuing as am hopeful that he will start liking them one day.
Baaki aur sab theek hain. Got my hair chopped off last week so have short hair now!! This was done in a moment of frustration when Rishu was not sleeping at all during the day despite my efforts and I was really tired. But its good as I am losing a lot of hair so is easier to manage now.

Happy to hear that he is taking bottles now. I can imagine how relieved you must be. Good that he is sitting on his own for sometime too. As he has taken bottels, he will also start liking his food and will soon eat. Don't worry about it. How is his excema? Are you having normal diet now?

U know that even Rishi was hating food and I was having a tough time. I give him feeds once in 4 hours only now and that really has made a difference. He will be hungry and though he screams when I give teh first two spoons, he understands that I am not gonna offer my breast and he eats.

So be patient and even if it is just a couple of spoons, make him eat. Even Rishi will purse his mouth shut and I will tickle him, make him laugh and then stuff the food inside.

Good to hear from you that Lord R is finally taking the bottle...some relief it must be...I didn't even dare t start the bottle battle...or rather I started it for a day or 2 and gave up...good job on ur persistance. Santhosh also doesn't like his rice ceral or oatmeal cereal...well he doesn't like it plain with bm/formula/water, but is ok when mixed with apple, banana, dal rice...I tried carrots but he didn't enjoy it much and I couldn't blend it well either.
I was quite frustrated when he refused cereal but he seems to like home cooked stuff...let me see for a few more days before I say for sure.
I too chopped off my hair a bit because of the tremendous rate and which it was falling....feels nice to do something different.
Hey forgot to congratulate R on being able to rolll so well and sit without support for quite some time...good achievements.
