Came to know that L Rishu is accepting the bottle now..that is great news yaar. What jaadoo did you do? I have stopped even trying you know..thought direct feeding is better in India instead of all sterilizing and pumping there.

I didn't get Rishu's photo mail at all... I wonder why I didn't get it. could you please forward it to me. I would love to see his snaps.

Reena replied. Hi Swathi,

Getting him to take the bottle wasnt easy at all. He used to take it as a baby then totally quit when he start teething! I used to try each and every day for over a month to get him to take the bottle but he wouldnt. Then gradually I started stuffing it into his mouth when he has just gone to sleep but was not in deep sleep. He would start sucking at the bottle neend mein. Then when he started doing that pretty regularly I took him off my breast cold turkey. He didnt feed well for 2 days with only 9-10 oz of milk so that was bad but after all the problems I was going thru with BF him I was determoned not to quit. Abhi bhookh lati hain to apne aap bottle maangta hain and he loves holding it too.
So, this was my bottle battle story...
