I saw in Rajju's pics that he was sitting in a seat...what is it called...because it kind on looked short, but comfy enough...can u enlighten me on what it is called....is that the booster seat?
Has Rajju started solids? I guess he must have. Hope he is enjoing it so far...do u buy the gerber wala or cook it at home? If home cooked do u use a baby food processor or blender?( Looks like if blender is used we've got to do it in large quantities...)

I don't have that much exp...sometime exp also doesn't matter you know because each baby is different. I have forgotten most of the stuff and get ideas from reading this board or asking friends who have babies.
I guess what you saw in the picture is 'fisherprice infant to toddler rocking chair'. My daughter has been using it for a long time. It can hold up to 40 lbs...is really good for feeding, putting them for nap and easy to remove and wash. I use swing to feed solids for Rajju but my back hurts. I didn't buy highchair at all, because it is bulky and pricey. got her booster seat but she used it for only one year. She loves this rocking chair even now..planning to taking it to India also...so we may have to buy another one for Rajju.
Abt baby food, I always used to give home made vegs for my daughter except carrot and peas. She is very picky eater. But for Rajju only gerber ones(feel very guilty) mainly because have no time now. I used to pressure cook the vegs and mash it using hand blender. If you are planning to make baby food at home it is better to buy hand blender(only 10 or 15$). You can mash and feed in the same bowl. It is easy to clean also.
Rajju used to like cereal a lot before introducing vegs/fruits. But now he has become very smart..purses his lips when I give him cereal and if I give veg/fruit then he opens his mouth!
