hi sue,
am also taking ecosprin since 5th week. When asked, the dr said it is to increase the blood flow. So dont worry. Since we are not medical experts, letz follow wht Dr Says...and have faith n god. Everything will be ok for all of us.
Take Care.

hi,
no i do not have any problems at all now, by the grace of god ... when the doc prescribed the baby aspirin , i too asked him - is it because there is some problem and he said no, its just good for the placenta.... so thats why i was wondering if it was really required to take the baby aspirins.

hi ,
i am from the july due date club.
i am taking baby aspirin daily since pregnancy was confirmed.
it is quite safe and is given to women who have some problem to help increase the blood flow to the placenta. in absence of which results in a miscarraige.
dont worry.
doctor knows best and in case you have some doubt get it cleared through your doc.
wishing you a safe and healthy pregnancy.

hi sue!
i am not sure about baby asprin... but my GP strongly advised against eating any asprin... since it is known to cause bleeding in pregnant women. it is highly risky.
in fact! my GP said no to any medicines except normal paracetamol, i.e. dafalgan.

maybe baby asprin is a different composition. but keep one thing in mind... my aunt who has an autistic child and has read a lot about the harmful effects of drugs on your foetus.. made me promise to her .. that unless my problem is so intense that i will die if i don' t take any medicines... not to take anyyyyyy medicines.. even if the doctor says so. sometimes they might affect your baby.

so all the best! and if you have some prb why not try a paracetamol?

hope that helps!
and take care!
love
ira

Hello sue,
I am also taking baby aspirin (ecospirin) regularly from the 7th week.Yes,aspirin is known to be good if taken in low dosage- for placental blood flow. Again it is thought to prevent pre-eclampsia.i am sure ur doc has prescribed it to u judiciously. Don´ t worry listen to ur doc.
Take care,
mou.
