My god, I just read up on the Bombay monsoon wreck. terrible 200 people already died and 633 since June 1. My god, ismein to bechare gareeb logon ki hi shamat aati hain. Unka to pura ka pura ghar hi barbaad ho gaya.
My heart is going out to them. They had cited an eg of this guy called Param Singh who walked 7 hrs to get to his beti who was in school and he had no clue if she was dead or alive. The mom was away for work out of Bombay. Cant even imagine what people must be going through.
Mother Nature is just too harsh!

My mother,a teacher, had a first hand experience. She was in Panvel for a week with another teacher and 15 students for a scouts and guides camp.They had all gone from Gujarat.On their trip back,their bus couldn't pick them up at the designated meeting place because of the torrential rains.They had to spend a night and early morning under a bridge;cold,wet and hungry.They couldn't even find any shelter for the night.Thankfully,the bus came the next morning and everyone returned home safely.

I really wish there were better crisis management systems in place in India.People wouldn't have to suffer so much.
