hi priya,

i have an allergies for lemon.my face is combination so i used to use lemon honey pack but my face developed pimples due to lemon.i used to rub lemon in my hands n legs to lighter my skin but it start to itch horribly.once someone told me rub lemon or put lemon juice in mehndi for dandruff.i used that n now my hairs had turned white like patches in few places.


can u pls give me some advice regarding this allergies? i really need ur help priya

it is just impossible that you got pimples out of using lemon. lemon has anti-infectant and anti-fungal properties. so its unlikely that you got pimples because of lemon. it could be due to other reasons. if you had used the towel/ napkin/ kerchief/ soap of another person with pimples or any other such ailments, then you could have got the pimples. otherwise it can be due to sudden hormonal changes. have you had your mensus this month or the last? have you changed your eating habits or diet lately? have you been keeping your face a little unclean than before? apart from these, there can be no reason of your having developed pimples. lemon just cannot get you pimples. alright, may be you are allergic to lemon. your face could have gone dry if you had used it on areas where your skin is particularly normal. but it cant creating anything more than that. lemon does not bleach the hair, but if that has happened to you, then you must see a dermatologist. your condition is the first of its kind that have seen so far. skin affected by pimples or any such blisters, will create an itch on application of lemon. but the itch/ burning is normal, because it indicates that the lemon is acting on the affected areas to heal. but if you think this has caused a problem, i suggest you go meet up a derm.
