Dear friends,

I know I have been really bad about writing but aajkal life kucch jyaada hi difficult ja raha hain...bhagwaan jaane kab theek hoga. Rishu na to sota hain na to khata hain. Kal after having milf at 12 he fed at 7pm only to vomit it all out. Started crying...then we went to eat out and I tried to feed him sweet potato only in vain..he just hates solids...pata nahi yeh 'phase''kab khatam hoga..
Anyway...
Vani- I saw Rishi's snaps and he is a real heartbreaker...lagta hain bahut hi chanchal hoga..one thing though..the fact that he watches TV so much due to your MIL is BAD...kucch to karo na please...TV ka taar nikal do...like you and Paddu recc even I was trying to get a babysitter and had a good one in mind..a 14yr old girl who sits other children in my area..however one of neighbors mentioned that itne chote baby ke liye she is not good, and that I should try someone else. the prob is that if I have a sitter who would just come an hour a day, I cant find those proffesional ones...it would only be these school kids...so I guess I have to start my search all over again...also you had asked me if I was a CA, yes, I am a chartered acct and a CPA (certified prof acct) in the US, bahut hi mehnat ki hain isliye there is no question of me giving up my career...its just a matter of time when I go back..bas mere paas koi help nahi tha so I couldnt even think of leaving R at a day care at that point so I quit...you had asked me this long ago and now only I am replying...I just keep thinking in my head that I will say this and I will say that..but only now did I get the time...as far as the feeding chair is concerned, that was the first and the last day I used it..its not practical to use it now as his head keeps bobbling up and down...so now I just sit aalti paalti and lay him down there and feed him..
Paddu- also saw Kicchu's snaps...accha your hubby (if that was him) is pretty good looking..tumne bahut hi young lagte ho...hum to buddhe ho gaye..thanks for your K waala comment..mera to dil khush ho gaya..and you are right about the bib, but he doesnt drool much..he actually spits out a lot and vomits too (like kal) and then I have to change him all over again..as is it laundry itni hoti hain na...isliye bib helps.but even I agree that it kills the show of the dress...so I will more to not use it...also we have tried to bring him into bed with us but he gets uo every time we turn and cries and its hard to stop him...bas agar usse nahi sona to bas nahi sona...agar upar se bhramma ji bhi aa jaye to woh nahi soyega...:)) Kal both of us concluded at 11pm that he had ADD as he hadnt slept from 8 in the morn to 11pm, bas ek baar gaari mein 15 min soya tha when we were driving to the resturant...anyways, this is my life...thora hasna thora rona...
Vidya-thanks yaar for all your suggestions for Rishu. You had asked if the Frisco trip is causing all these sleep issues..actually they had started abt a week before we left so I guess not..havent had a chance to email you yet...I guess I have been trying everything you said, in fact hubby read your dark closet mein roaming abt waala thing to make Diya sleep and he tried it but even that didnt work!
Naveena- Thanks for your email..but like I mentioned above Rishu is not feeding well or sleeping well. Were you able to see the snaps yet??
Raj-thanks for your reply on feeds and toys..you sure are doing a great job with Siddhant...bahut accha lagta hain woh mujhe...Puneet ko bhi maine snaos dikhaya...keep up the good work..Rishu hates any type of solids so I dont know what I am doing wrong...I guess it has to be me only...accha can you give me an idea of what Siddhants sch is like in terms of solids and formula..matlab kitni kitni der mein woh milk leta hain aur solids aur kitna leta hain...should I give R solids on absolute empty stomach or what..any tips would be appreciated as I am having a hard time feedinng him solids...kal se milk bhi nahi le raha hain..

ADD and all is bakwas.. Kabhi aise mat sochna.. Uska growth spurt chal raha hein or his cortesone excema creams have made him hyper (i'm just firing off yaar) Haan.. Saath sulane se they tend to wake up if you turn heavy.. Mera abhi wohi problem hain. Sanj snores at times (esp if there's a nose block) and then Kich is all over me.. He;s scared and then he wants to sleep too...

14 year ka baby sitter? Rakh lo na kucch din.. tum to khar pe hi rahoge, it's just that you'll be resting in the other room or so. do teen din mein pata chal jaayega if she's good or not. Aur agar neighbourhood waale are giving a good ref. it is worth a shot.

Aur solids ki baat.. Sab veggoes aur cereals ko 'almost liquid' bana do.. Aur jab feed kar rahe ho tho uske apni godi mein litao (stretched legs, his legs near yours, head on your lap facing outwards) and then feed. This is a vomit-unfriendly position and his pipe will also open up well..

About the K thing.. I am serious!! A speech therapist in Mangalore who worked with my nephew Aditya told this to us... Da, ga and ma are easy sounds it seems. K ke liye he has to co-ordinate all his voice organs and then control the air-flow also, it seems.. Try saying da, ma ga and then Ka/K.. you'll notice..

Sanj- good looking? Hah! He works hard to maintain a gymmed look and spend tons of time grooming..

You're right about Raj.. She's the youngest of us and got the eldest kiddo too.. And she's succeeded in it all - bottle, solids, sititng, playing.. I feel proud of her and then kick myself for not trying hard enough!
